Fall Fun Part 2!

Here is the part two you all have been anxiously waiting for!

Test weekends: (n:)

1. a weekend of pure joy.

2. A weekend when no studying what so ever takes place.

3. A weekend of all playing and fun.

4.Abby’s favorite weekends.

These weekends occur about once every two months and let me tell ya, I look so forward to them! I am proud of Allan for studying and doing so well and being so dedicated to learning more and using the abilities Jesus has given him and it’s nice to get to celebrate his hard work after he takes a test! The way MUSC works is in “blocks.” They learn about different things are a set amount of time (ex. 6 weeks) and then take a GINORMOUS test on everything they have learned. I couldn’t do it. Allan does it really well.

So the whole weekend after the test is FREE! So new material to study yet! and it’s so fun!

This past test weekend (ok, I’m a little late, it was about 3 weeks ago!) we carved a pumpkin, cleaned the house, went through mail (all exciting things, trust me!), slept in late, ate breakfast late, and celebrated Halloween with some of our friends.  Enjoy the photos and try to figure out our costumes! On actually Halloween day, we decided to take a trip to the fair since we are too old to go trick or treating : ( It was a lot of fun though! Great weather and a fun time to be with friends, eat really nasty food, ride rides, and wear joutfits again. Praise God for county fairs. They are just unbelievable.

WELCOME SOPHIE!

I am so excited to announce that Sophie Lee Frank has arrived into the world!

Annie (preggo below) and Christine (not preggo below) have been some of my best friends since well...our birth! I am so thankful for both of them and getting to celebrate amazing things in life together, from learning to ride bikes, to high school graduations, to weddings, and now to Annie’s (and Josh’s!) first baby, Sophie!

I can’t wait to meet the little  bundle of cuteness! Congrats Josh and Annie!

Fall Fun Part 1

I had really good intentions of keeping up with my blog once I got caught up with the wedding blog, but well, life happen. So here’s a little snippet of the past month for the Sharpes (that is fun to say!)

At the first feel of cool weather, I was ready to get into the fall spirit and eat pumpkin muffins, drink warm drinks, go to a pumpkin patch, etc. etc. etc. Charleston has a great place called Boone Hall Plantation that knows how to celebrate the fall! Pumpkin patch, corn maze, inflatable games,  a jumping pillow (see picture below), a slide tower (pictures below!), a spider web maze, and a petting zoo! Luckily, we have friends with a kid, so we talked them into going so it wouldn’t be so strange for us to go! : ) Plus, we like those friends a lot and wanted to hang with them! We were also able to make the trek up to the dash to celebrate my parents’ birthdays! I am thankful to be closer and have the ability to drive to be with my family to celebrate things like this. I am thankful for my parents and happy we were able to celebrate them! But, as is normally the case, all of my pictures are of the babies. They are just too cute! Sorry about the robe picture Blake : )

I also found out that I am going to be an aunt again! Blash and Dratalie are both expecting again! YAY FOR MORE BABIES!
